Welcome to Shabbat Wake, a mobile application designed to help users set and manage recurring alarms around fixed schedules and routines.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Shabbat Wake mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not install, access, or use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this app.
  • If you use the app on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for all activity occurring through your use of the Service.

2. License and Use

  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
  • You agree not to copy, distribute, sell, lease, modify, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service.

3. Alarm Functionality and Limitations

Shabbat Wake assists users by providing scheduled alarms based on preset or user-defined times. However:

  • Alarm delivery may be affected by your device’s settings, operating-system behavior, battery optimization, and granted permissions.
  • We cannot guarantee that alarms will sound under all conditions (for example, Do Not Disturb mode, muted volume, or background restrictions).

You are responsible for ensuring alarms are set up and functioning as expected.

4. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Shabbat Wake offers optional paid subscription plans (“Supporter Plans”) available through Google Play Billing.

  • Payments are processed securely by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment or personal information.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Google Play account before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Google Play account → Payments & Subscriptions.
    Access to premium features remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not provide partial or prorated refunds. Refunds are governed solely by Google Play’s refund policy.
  • If a free trial is offered, charges will begin automatically at the end of the trial unless canceled beforehand.
  • Supporter Plans are not donations; they are optional paid tiers that help maintain and improve the Service.
  • Prices may vary based on region and applicable taxes.
  • Invoices and payment receipts are issued automatically by Google Play under the publisher name shown on the app’s Play Store page.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, logos, and other materials in the app are the intellectual property of Shabbat Wake or its licensors.
You may not use this content without permission.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or us.
You may stop using the Service at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability and Warranty Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising out of:

  • Alarm delivery failure,
  • Technical malfunctions,
  • Misuse of the app,
  • Or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We make no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app or on our website.
Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel.
